Parents have long been cautious of the Internet friend site Myspace. Kids can log onto the chatting site and mix-it-up with strangers who could try to lure the minors into compromising situations. Megan Meier of Dardenne Prairie, Missouri thought she had made a new friend. It turned out to be a cruel practical joke. Megan suffered from depression and attention deficit disorder. When the “friend” told her she was cruel, Megan committed suicide. The parents are now calling for Myspace to be responsible for the girls death.
